Our Story
Growing up in the small town of Patten in Northern Maine, Enock Glidden discovered a deep passion for the outdoors. One defining childhood moment stands out vividly: from the driveway of his family’s log cabin, he spotted a natural dirt ramp leading into the woods. A thought sparked—How far can I go?
Without hesitation, he pulled a wheelie and launched himself forward. After some struggle, he made it about a quarter-mile before encountering a massive brush pile. Faced with an obstacle, he refused to stop. He got out of his wheelchair, crawled over the pile, and pulled his chair behind him. Once clear, he pressed on, determined to reach the swamp he had often gazed at through the sliding glass doors of the cabin’s front deck. That moment cemented his love for exploration and pushing boundaries—an adventurous spirit that still drives him today.
Enock’s journey led him to Alexandria Sukeforth through a chance encounter, and the connection was instant. They shared the same passion for adventure and a deep desire to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, could experience the joy of the outdoors. Together, they founded Outdoor Access Solutions—a company dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating inclusive outdoor experiences.
Alex, the backbone of the organization, brings her expertise in business, turning their shared vision into reality. She’s an outdoor enthusiast herself—you’ll often find her at the beach in the summer or exploring the rugged trails of the Bigelow Preserve. Her dedication and leadership have made this company what it is today.
At Outdoor Access Solutions, we are committed to making exploration possible for everyone. We can’t wait to share our passion and expertise with every client we serve
