Redefining Possibility in the Great Outdoors
At Outdoor Access Solutions (OAS), we believe the outdoors belongs to everyone. But belief alone doesn’t build bridges—action does.
Our speaking engagements go beyond inspiration. We provide the tactical knowledge, lived experience, and strategic frameworks necessary to transform “accessible” from a compliance checklist into a culture of true belonging. Whether you are a land trust, a corporate team, a school, or a tourism board, we help you see the world through a wider lens.
The Collaborative Experience
Enock Glidden & Alexandria Sukeforth
“Bridging Barriers: The Full Spectrum of Access”
Real accessibility is not one-dimensional. By combining Enock’s lived experience as a wheelchair user and adaptive athlete with Alexandria’s expertise in neurodiversity and operational strategy, OAS offers a comprehensive view of inclusion that few others can match.
When Enock and Alexandria speak together, they cover the entire spectrum of ability—physical, cognitive, and sensory. They model the dynamic partnership required to make accessibility work, moving the conversation from “limitations” to “solutions.”
Popular Joint Topics:
True Inclusion (Beyond the ADA): Why legal compliance is the floor, not the ceiling, and how to design for dignity and independence.
The Team Approach to Access: How organizations, allies, and disabled individuals can collaborate to solve logistical puzzles in nature.
Physical & Sensory Trail Design: A holistic look at barriers—from the roots on the ground to the noise pollution that affects neurodivergent visitors.
The “How Can I?” Culture: Building an organizational mindset that replaces “We can’t do that” with “How can we make that happen?”
“Enock and Alex didn’t just tell us what was wrong with our trails; they showed us the potential we were missing. Their combined perspective changed our entire strategic plan.” — Maine Coast Heritage Trust
Enock Glidden
The Adventurer & Advocate
Born with Spina Bifida, Enock has spent his life navigating a world not designed for him—and then choosing to climb it anyway. From summiting El Capitan in Yosemite to paragliding and assessing hundreds of miles of Maine trails, Enock embodies the philosophy of “How Can I?”
Enock’s solo engagements are high-energy, deeply personal, and universally motivating. He challenges audiences to confront their own perceived limitations and teaches the principles of inclusion through the lens of adventure.
Keynotes & Workshops:
The “How Can I?” Mindset: Overcoming adversity in the outdoors and in life by reframing obstacles as adventures.
Wheelchairs in the Wild: A deep dive into the mechanics of physical accessibility, adaptive equipment, and the reality of navigating nature on wheels.
The Economics of Inclusion: Why accessible tourism is a smart business investment and how to invite the adaptive market to your destination.
- Why Trail Metrics Matter: Why giving people the stats of a trail rather than a trail rating can help people decide what is accessible to them.
Bob Dyer, my middle school phys. ed. teacher, set me on a path of not saying ‘I can’t’ but asking ‘How can I?’ and answering that question. I don’t think I have ever found a moment when I couldn’t answer that question. — Enock Glidden

Accessibility is often visualized as a ramp, but many barriers are invisible. As the COO of Outdoor Access Solutions and a mother navigating the world of neurodiversity, Alexandria brings a critical, often-overlooked perspective to the table.
Alexandria’s sessions focus on the cognitive, sensory, and operational sides of access. She speaks to the parents, the planners, and the educators, highlighting how we can create spaces that are welcoming to those with autism, sensory processing differences, and cognitive disabilities.
Keynotes & Workshops:
The Invisible Barrier: Designing outdoor experiences for neurodiversity, autism, and sensory needs.
The Caregiver’s Perspective: Understanding the logistics, anxieties, and needs of families traveling with disabled members.
Operational Empathy: How to train staff, write inclusive marketing copy, and create “know-before-you-go” resources that reduce anxiety for visitors.
Nature-Based Education for All: Strategies for making environmental education programs inclusive for students with diverse learning styles.
“Access isn’t just about the trail surface; it’s about the information you provide before I even leave my house. It’s about feeling welcome, safe, and understood when I arrive.” — Alexandria Sukeforth
